Purpose: To determine the success of combined trabeculotomy and trabeculectomy with application Mitomycin C in primary congenital glaucoma. Study Design: Interventional case series. Place Duration Study: Mughal eye hospital Lahore from January 2018 to December 2019. Methods: Twenty-four patients glaucoma were included. Secondary corneal haze excluded. Corneal diameter above 11.5, 12.5 13 mm (when raised IOP) considered indications for surgery neonates, at 1 year age any respectively. I-Care tonometer was used measure IOP all cases. Trabeculotomy Trabeculectomy plus MMC performed Procedure successful if post-operative between 5 21 Hg stable optic nerve head 3 months after surgery. Results: Mean 9.7 ± 7.6 months. preoperative intraocular pressure (IOP) 27.8 4.4 Hg. post operative 13.5 6.5, 17.8 16.9 4.8 on first day, end one month respectively.Twenty-one (88 %) cases based set criteria.Complications included non-identification Canal Schlemn, full thickness superficial flap uveal show due very thin sclera, hyphema, collapse anterior chamber choroidal detachment. Conclusion: Combined is effective decreasing significantly. Key Words: Trabeculotomy, Trabeculectomy, C, Primary Congenital Glaucoma.

Combined trabeculotomy-trabeculectomy compared with primary trabeculectomy for congenital glaucoma.
This paper aimed to assess the outcome of primary trabeculectomy for congenital glaucoma and to compare it with a combined trabeculotomy-trabeculectomy procedure. The combined procedure was assessed using a prospective trial for children with primary glaucoma under the age of 1 year (n = 16). The primary trabeculectomy was assessed retrospectively using similar patients treated at the same hosp...
